About Me

 I’m Mishak Husain Ahmed—an experience curator, storyteller, and relentless explorer on a mission to put Bangladesh on the global travel map. I specialise in turning forgotten alleyways into living museums, transforming river journeys into time-traveling adventures, and elevating street food into five-star experiences—all while ensuring local communities thrive.

What I Do

I founded Secrets Bangladesh, a travel company with soul, where history whispers through cobbled streets, culture comes alive in bustling markets, and adventure takes you beyond the ordinary. Whether it’s a rickshaw ride through Dhaka’s vibrant chaos, a night under the stars in the Sundarbans, or unraveling the silk-weaving secrets of Jamdani artisans, I direct immersive experiences that make guests the “protagonists”  feel like they’re part of Bangladesh’s unfolding story but in reality this is their story in Bangladesh.

But my journey isn’t just about travel—it’s about impact. That’s why I co-founded Citizens in Action Bangladesh (CIAct), encouraging and empowering everyday people to become catalysts for change. From disaster relief and community safety to urban beautification and mental health advocacy, we’re on a mission to build a kinder, more vibrant Bangladesh—one project at a time.

What Drives Me?

I’ve lived in many and travelled to over 50 countries, walked the halls of Brunel University London and International Business School Budapest, and gained perspectives from every corner of the world. Yet, no matter where I go, Bangladesh remains home—my greatest inspiration and my biggest canvas.

My mission?

To share its untold stories, reshape the world’s perception of it, and build a future where travel is meaningful, sustainable, and unforgettable.
